Emily Atack has banned children from attending her wedding.

The 36-year-old actress - who has Barney, 23 months, with fiance Alistair Garner - has revealed she doesn't want any kids at her wedding ceremony.

The TV star said on The Romesh Ranganathan Show podcast: "We're being kind to our friends and making sure that people don't have to worry too much about paying for lots of things, but we have said no kids at the wedding, no children."

Emily has admitted to being surprised by the reaction of some of her friends.

The actress - who got engaged to the scientist in July 2025 - explained: "I'm surprised by how many people are happy about that. I thought I'd get a lot of people kicking off, but they're like, 'no, 'f*** those kids'."

Meanwhile, Emily recently described her good looks as her "superpower" during her younger years.

The actress was perceived as sexy long before she played Charlotte Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners, but she admits that the perception also "scared" her.

Speaking to Grazia magazine, Emily shared: "I didn’t look like all the girls in my class; I was tall, I had boobs, I had long blonde hair, I wore makeup. It was my superpower, but also something that scared me.

"It was very confusing. But as I got older, I leant into it."

Emily insists that her success came principally through sheer hard work. However, she's also conscious that her appearance has helped to open some doors for her in the entertainment industry.

The actress - who was runner-up on the 18th series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2018 - explained: "I’ve done so many things; I’ve done 13 movies. I’ve worked on some incredible sets and really difficult ones.

"Where I was a teenager, I learned to accept that on certain sets things were going to happen – whether it was touching me, whispering things in my ear between takes when nobody was listening, or texting me outside of working hours with inappropriate things. I’ve been through it."
