The Loose Women star, 61, has been dating the 41-year-old lecturer Ryan Brockbank for a couple of months, and Coleen has now revealed where they first met.
Former Celebs Go Dating star Coleen shared a screenshot of her direct messages on Instagram, and she wrote "How it started..." over the top of the picture.
The text featured an exchange between Coleen and Ryan, who started the conversation with: "Hey. Hope you are having a great weekend. Drink?"
Coleen replied to Ryan's first move with a red heart emoji.
While she hadn't written anything in reply, Ryan was not put off.
He continued to pursue Coleen by asking the star if she was watching Eurovision, and he appeared to hint that he wasn't tuning in himself.
She wrote: "Don't lie I bet you're watching it."
Ryan also posted the same screenshot, and he added a selfie of himself and Coleen, complete with the caption: "How it's going"
Coleen has seen many benefits from her new romance.
Last month, the star joked her hips are "probably better" since she struck up a romance with Ryan.
The pair hard launched their relationship on Instagram in August, and they have been enjoying spending time together.
She told Closer magazine: "My hips are not what they used to be, to be honest - but they are probably better now I've met Ryan. They absolutely are!"
Coleen met Ryan after she failed to find love on E4's Celebs Go Dating earlier this year.
Speaking about being rejected by her dates, Coleen said: "My ego was on the floor. It was mortifying when people did not put their hands up [if they wanted you]. It was a bit humiliating, but you've got to take it.
"It is transparent, and you learn along the way."
Coleen and Ryan are said to have been dating for the past few months and enjoyed a recent romantic getaway together.
Earlier this month, the pair were spotted walking arm-in-arm while she supported her sisters Anne, 75, Denise, 74, and Maureen, 72, in their show, An Afternoon with the Nolans, in Blackpool.
