Amy Dowden's husband has told her to 'be careful' with Strictly Come Dancing routines
Strictly Come Dancing pro Amy Dowden's husband Ben Jones has warned her not to overdo it in her routines with celebrity partner Thomas Skinner following her previous health woes.

Amy Dowden has been warned by her husband to "be careful" with her Strictly Come Dancing routines.
The 35-year-old dancer is partnered with former Apprentice candidate Thomas Skinner on the new series of the BBC's Saturday night staple and her partner Ben Jones has warned her not to exert herself too much.
Amy – who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023 and was forced to withdraw from Strictly last year due to a foot injury – told ITV's Lorraine on Wednesday (01.10.25): "The routine we got on Saturday, we just put everything in it. It's full on, there's no way my body would have coped last year.
"I'm doing things I never thought I'd do on Strictly Come Dancing. My husband said, 'Just be careful.' He's so strong."
Meanwhile, Amy hailed Thomas for "working so hard" during training and for taking Strictly "so seriously" despite his lack of dancing experience.
The Welsh dancer said: "We're having so much fun too. What I love is how much it means, how much he wants to improve and get it right.
"Watching him dance last weekend was so rewarding for me. For a non-dancer, a complete beginner, someone not in the entertainment world, to see what you produced, I was buzzing."
Amy quipped: "Someone said I sounded like Stacey from Gavin and Stacey."
Meanwhile, she previously confessed that she hit an "all time low" following her breast cancer treatment as she had "deluded" herself into believing she would soon return to dancing and that her hair would quickly grow back.
Amy told the Daily Mirror newspaper earlier this year: "I thought my life was going to get back to normal. I was deluded. I honestly thought that I'd be back dancing on Strictly in no time and that my hair was going to grow back far quicker than it did.
"I thought I'd be back to the old Amy, and it hit me really hard. I was scared and petrified. It was a very daunting, difficult time and it hit me really hard. I was scared and petrified. It was a very daunting, difficult time as well as being put into menopause."
Dowden admitted that her primary goal is getting to the end of the current series of Strictly Come Dancing.
She said: "Watching your celebrity fall in love with dancing, that for me is a win. It would just be wonderful to be able to complete the whole Strictly series. I just can't wait to soak myself in all the Strictly magic."
