Jodie Marsh used her OnlyFans funds to build an animal rescue shelter

Jodie Marsh used her OnlyFans earnings to build an animal shelter.
The 44-year-old model, who appeared in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2006 and 2012, has earned £60,000 on the adult site, and has used the money to fund her animal sanctuaries, such as Fripps Farm and The Dragon Shelter.
Speaking to MailOnline, she said: “Before we became a C.I.C (Community Interest Company) I was funding it all myself and I did it by doing OnlyFans.
“The perimeter fence alone for securing the animals cost £60,000 so I had to pay for that with OnlyFans. My boobs paid for the fences and they also paid the staff's wages!”
The animal enthusiast revealed that she needs to raise £16,000 a month to ensure her farm can continue to run.
As costs continue to rise, Jodie insisted she would never turn away an animal in need, and has recently begun working with Anna Milosevic to re-home an iguana at The Dragon Shelter.
She said: “Anna and I met years ago when we both worked in the same nightclub and we hooked up again recently because she's now rescuing reptiles and we get lots and lots of reptiles.
“She's offered to take our Iguana for us and he's a very big boy, very fit and healthy and in tip top shape. By rehoming him to Anna, it frees up space for us to take in any more that need homes and also any emergency cases because at the moment we're sort of full up.
“It's really cool that Anna's going to take him because she'll give him the best life and it's just wonderful that we've played a part in finding him his forever home.”
Aside from her work with animals, Jodie is renowned for her days as a glamour model, but she is keen to prove there is more to her than what meets the eye.
She said: “When I first got famous it was quite well documented that I went to a private school and that I've got 11 GCSES and I was really clever, so I think people who have known me from the start, they've always known that I've got a brain.
“Actually I think that some people hate me in the start because they were like, "well if she's so clever, why is she getting her boots out?”
“But I saw it as the quickest way to make lots of money actually. For me, it was a clever move because it was something I could do really easily and really quickly to raise lots and lots of money for myself.
“So if people have followed me a long time or know about me, then I think they know that I've got a brain."
