Richard Kimble - The Fugitive

This 1993 movie sees the actor play Richard Kimble, a man who is wrongly accused for murdering his wife and is hunted by the law, all while he attempts to pursue the real killer.

Whilst his co-star Tommy Lee Jones won an Academy Award for best supporting actor for this picture and he missed out, Harrison is the star of ‘The Fugitive’.

Reflecting on Tommy’s Oscar win, director Andrew Davis emphasised that Harrison most-definitely deserved to win an award for his performance too.

He said: “I was upset that Harrison didn’t get nominated.

“Tommy got a lot of attention, but Harrison did a great job.

“I think it’s his best role. He plays this real character, and the emotion he brings to it is profound.”
