Colonel Lucas - Apocalypse Now

Even though the star-studded cast gave him a lot of competition, Harrison an excellent addition to ‘Apocalypse Now’.

The 1979 movie, which stars Marlon Brando, Martin Sheen and Laurence Fishburne, shows the Vietnam War through American soldiers’ eyes and the eyes of renegade Colonel Kurtz (Marlon Brando) who has gone insane.

Harrison played Colonel G. Lucas - in what is a cheeky nod to his ‘Star Wars’ director, George Lucas.
