In 2012, the ‘Mean Girls’ actress was rushed to hospital following a severe asthma attack.

According to her mother Dina, Lindsay was taken to the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York after complaining of severe chest pains.

The showbiz matriarch said it was due to the high pollen count in the city that triggered a severe reaction.

She said: “Lindsay had not been feeling well all last week, following a week of high pollen counts in New York. She has had bronchial asthma ever since she was little.”
