The latter song went on to be inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2008 and was Oscar-nominated.
In 1969, the pair won an Oscar for their best-known hit, 'Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head', for the flick 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid'.
The movie's score also scooped Best Original Score.
Burt would land his third Academy Awards for 1982's 's 'Arthur's Theme'.
They also received Oscar nominations for 'The Look of Love', 'What's New Pussycat?', and 'Alfie'.
