Man eats 124 kebabs
A man consumed 250,000 calories after eating 124 kebabs in a month to raise money for charity, but has admitted the challenge damaged him "psychologically" and "physically".
Des Breakey, a 36-year-old engineer from Manchester, admitted the challenge was too demanding for him, but that he feels a huge sense of "achievement" after completing the task.
He said: "It's a great achievement. I appreciate the support. But I won't do it again. This is my last challenge. I'm retiring. I've enjoyed it, but it's taken its toll on me physically."
Since starting the "Kababathon" on 1 December, Breakey ate up to four kebabs a day during the challenge.
Des is still raising money for Francis House Children's Hospice after completing his challenge.
