In November 2021, the Canadian singer revealed he had been infected with COVID-19 for the second time in the space of a month. The rock veteran received treatment in an Italian hospital, as he did when he first had the disease. The 'Summer of 69' singer updated his fans on his health state in a social media post, which read: “Here I am, just arrived in Milano, and I’ve tested positive for the second time in a month for COVID. So, it’s off to the hospital for me. Thanks for all your support.”
