The Gentlemen star has been tipped as a potential Bond following his portrayal of Eddie Horniman, Duke of Halstead in Guy Ritchie's Netflix series - but feels that he is too old take on the role at 41.

He told GQ magazine: "I'm definitely too old now, for one. But, yeah, that would be an example of a place you could never come back from."

James also admits that he would be reluctant to play 007 because of the attention that comes with the part.
