The former Superman actor, who missed out on playing Bond to Craig when he reached the final audition stage for 2006 007 movie Casino Royale, think he is a "bit old" to play the character now.

Cavill, 43, told Heat magazine earlier this year: "I didn't turn the role down – it just wasn't the right time. What actor wouldn't love to be Bond?

"I'd probably be considered a bit old to start now."
