Nigel Thornberry – The Wild Thornberrys (1998–2004)

Delivering the unforgettable, heavily-memed catchphrase "Smashing!", Curry voiced the eccentric, nature-loving father for years. It introduced his brilliant vocal talents to a whole new generation of children who grew up in the late 90s and early 2000s. Curry uniquely used his own father's cadence and an exaggerated version of high-society British speech to create the animated icon. The animated series was an elite flagship program for Nickelodeon, running for 5 seasons and 91 episodes. Its massive popularity spawned a successful theatrical feature film, The Wild Thornberrys Movie (2002), which earned an Academy Award nomination, and a crossover film with the Rugrats, proving the immense commercial power of the franchise.
