Wadsworth – Clue (1985)

As the fast-talking butler holding a chaotic murder mystery together, Curry anchored this classic ensemble comedy. His breathless, lightning-fast physical recap of the movie's chaotic events at the climax is pure comedic genius. Showing off his immense versatility, Curry actually had to film three entirely different endings, which were distributed randomly to different theaters during its original run. This gimmick of having multiple endings unfortunately backfired at the box office in 1985, causing the movie to underperform and pull in just $14.6 million. However, once it hit home video and cable television, Clue underwent a major critical re-evaluation and is now celebrated as one of the definitive cult comedy classics of the 1980s.
