Cardinal Richelieu – The Three Musketeers (1993)

Curry chewed the scenery to absolute perfection as the corrupt, power-hungry Cardinal. He brought a delicious, campy malice to an otherwise straightforward action-adventure film, perfectly complementing his co-stars Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland, and Chris O'Donnell. Curry was initially approached to play one of the heroes, but he famously insisted that playing the villain was far more fun. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics who found the adaptation a bit safe, audiences absolutely loved the fun, swashbuckling tone. Driven by the star power of the cast and Curry's memorable villainous turn, the film was a commercial hit, grossing over $53 million domestically and performing incredibly well on global home video markets.
