The legendary showman was forced to make a devastating exit during a concert in Auckland, New Zealand, on February 16, 2020. Having been diagnosed with walking pneumonia earlier that day, the music icon insisted on taking the stage anyway. However, mid-performance, his voice completely gave out while trying to sing Daniel. Visibly weeping and leaning on his piano for support, a heartbroken Elton addressed the stadium, saying: "I’ve completely lost my voice. I can’t sing. I’ve got to go," before being escorted off stage by medics.
