Bubbles the chimpanzee

Michael purchased a chimpanzee called Bubbles from a Texas research facility during the 1980s.

Bubbles lived at Jackson's Neverland home and frequently accompanied the Man in the Mirror artist around the world – notably drinking tea with Osaka mayor Yasushi Oshima when Michael stopped in the Japanese city on his Bad world tour in 1987.

The primate was relocated to the Center for Great Apes in 2005 after it became too aggressive for Michael to keep at home.

The animal is still alive and well at the age of 43 and recently received a visit from Jaafar Jackson.
