The Poker Face hitmaker was already a global pop icon known for her theatrical performances and chart-topping hits before turning to acting. Gaga earned early acclaim for her role as The Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel (2015), but it was her raw, stripped-back performance opposite Bradley Cooper in A Star Is Born (2018) that won her an Academy Award for Best Original Song. In true Lady Gaga fashion, she later returned with full dramatic flair as Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci (2021).
