Charli XCX thinks "sex, sexuality and confidence" are "sacred".

The 34-year-old star, who insisted she feels most confident "on stage" and with her husband George Daniel, has opened up about the importance of being in touch with her own body and emotions.

She told Playboy for a new cover shoot: "I feel quite comfortable in underwear.

"I feel sexy in underwear, and I feel sexy in a fully tailored suit. When I feel sexy, I feel confident.

"Sex, sexuality, and confidence are all very sacred things to me. If I could feel them on the max, all the time, then I would.”

Speaking to Kylie Jenner for the new chat, Charli was asked about the perfect "sexy photo".

She added: “To me, a sexy photo is something that captures someone’s true essence. It’s not necessarily a perfect photo.

"It can be raw, messy, perhaps a little vulnerable at points. I think a sexy photo shows the truth.”
