Handing over the House of Games
After nine years and more than 800 episodes, Richard Osman has announced he is stepping down as host of Richard Osman’s House of Games. Speaking on his podcast The Rest is Entertainment, he confirmed: “It will no longer be Richard Osman’s House of Games. It will be somebody else’s House of Games. And I gladly hand over the keys.” The author admitted he is leaving to focus on writing but said he will be “gutted” to walk away. He will front one final week before a new host takes over, closing a chapter that also led him to meet his wife, actress Ingrid Oliver, when she appeared as a contestant in 2022.
