Karyn Parsons

Parsons, who played Hilary Banks in the 1990s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, stepped away from acting in 2002 to focus on family.

She then founded Sweet Blackberry - a creative film and book series that profiles unsung Black heroes.

The 58-year-old star's titles include Flying Free and How High the Moon.
