Somerhalder - known for playing Damon Salvatore in the supernatural teen drama series The Vampire Diaries - says his acting career is now "in the rear-view mirror" as he pursues a totally different career.

He quit acting in 2019.

Somerhalder, 46, now leads the Absorption Company, which champions health supplements and environmental causes alongside his work in conservation.
