Known for his role as a cosmetic surgeon in Nip/Tuck, the late actor suggested that Doctor Doom’s early transformation should involve facial staples - mirroring his TV character’s surgical tools.

The nod wasn’t just clever, it gave Doom’s origin a more clinical and unnerving edge.
