Brandon Routh

Brandon Routh brought the Man of Steel back to the silver screen with Superman Returns.

Routh donned the cape for director Bryan Singer’s 2006 film, which continued the continuity of the Christopher Reeve movies.

He later reprised the role in Crisis on Infinite Earths in 2019, closing a circle for fans.

Singer reflected: “Brandon had that same quiet nobility that Reeve had.”
