David Corenswet is donning the cape and the red trunks for a new era.

The actor has taken on the role in director James Gunn’s Superman, and stars opposite Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor and Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane.

So far, the blockbuster has impressed critically and commercially - bringing in $220 million worldwide since its release on July 11, and kicking off what is shaping up to be a bright future for DC on the silver screen.

Gunn reflected: “David is everything I was looking for - kind, bold, and hopeful.”
