A lengthy shoot

The intense bathroom fight scene in ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ between Ethan Hunt (Cruise), August Walker (Henry Cavill) and the decoy John Lark (Liang Yang) is one of the grittiest brawls in the whole series, and its complex choreography soon delayed production.

The sequence was originally planned to be filmed over four days. However, the scene proved to be far more difficult than expected, ultimately taking four weeks to complete.

Interestingly, one of the scene’s most memorable moments - when August Walker appears to “reload” his biceps before rejoining the fight - was reportedly improvised by Cavill himself.
