Thomas Brodie-Sangster

It had always been a dream of his to be in ‘Star Wars’, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster finally got his chance to appear in the franchise with ‘The Force Awakens’.

The actor cameoed as First Order officer Thanisson in the film, who meets a fiery end during Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and Finn’s (John Boyega) escape from the Star Destroyer, The Finalizer.

Brodie-Sangster said of his role: “I keep saying that I’ve always wanted to play a baddie. And that counts.

“They said, ‘It’s a bit odd. There’s a part in ‘Star Wars’, it films next week, we don’t really know much about it. But it might be a baddie and we think there's a line. Do you want to do it?’

“And I was like, ‘Um, Yeah! It’s Star Wars!' It’s a big childhood thing to tick off the list. Just immediately yes. Of course.”
