Robert Pattinson has ‘Twilight’ to thank for the career he has today, but it hasn’t been plain sailing for the actor.

In fact, Pattinson faced harsh criticism for his role in the fantasy franchise - in which he starred alongside Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner - and doesn’t understand why ‘Twilight’ continues to get hate.

He said: “I love that people keep telling me, ‘Man, ‘Twilight’ ruined the vampire genre.’

“Are you still stuck on that? How can you be sad about something that happened almost 20 years ago? It’s crazy.”
