Halle Berry took on the title role in 2004’s DC flick ‘Catwoman’, a film that quickly gained notoriety as one of the worst comic book adaptations ever put to screen.

Upon its release, both fans and critics widely panned the movie, with Berry’s portrayal receiving significant backlash and even earning her the Worse Actress Razzie Award in 2005.

Even so, Berry insisted she wouldn’t let the negativity “derail” her career.

She later said: “I didn’t want to be casual about it, but I went and collected that Razzie, laughed at myself, and kept it moving.

“A little bad publicity about a movie? I didn’t love it, but it wasn’t going to stop my world or derail me from doing what I love to do.”
