Shia LaBeouf
When news broke that Indiana Jones would return to the big screen after nearly two decades, excitement was high - especially with Harrison Ford back in the iconic role.
However, when ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ hit cinemas in 2008, many fans were left underwhelmed, with particular criticism levied at Shia LaBeouf’s portrayal of Mutt Williams, the archaeologist’s son.
LaBeouf later admitted he felt he “dropped the ball on the legacy that people loved and cherished,” and went on to suggest several changes he believed should have been made to the film.
In response, Ford called him an “idiot,” and LaBeouf was notably absent from 2023’s ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’.
