Pierce Brosnan played Bond in four films: 'GoldenEye', 'Tomorrow Never Dies', 'The World Is Not Enough' and 'Die Another Day' and threw his weight behind 'Bridgerton' star Rege-Jean Page taking over in the tuxedo in a 2021 interview.

Brosnan said: "I think he would be wonderful."
