Drew Barrymore was initially up for doing her own stunts, but a horrific accident soon soured that idea for her.

During the making of the Netflix show ‘Santa Clarita Diet’, the actress hit her head on a concrete floor after falling six feet, giving her a severe concussion and sending her to the hospital for two days.

A week later, Barrymore returned to the set to complete the show, but vowed never to perform her own stunts ever again, particularly as she is a mother to two daughters, Olive and Frankie.

She later said: “When you don't have kids, you're not thinking about your mortality. Now that I have children, I will be sitting on the sidelines.”
