The decision of using a surrogate was a difficult one for the actress, as she always wanted to carry a child of her own.

However, after being unable to have a baby herself, she and her husband, sportswriter Max Handelman, made the decision to use a surrogate and now have two sons Felix and Magnus.

The 'Magic Mike XXL' star has received criticism for using a surrogate, though.

She said: "I don't feel I owe anybody an explanation ... If my story helps people feel less alone on their journey, then I'm grateful for that. So once my focus became the baby and not the pregnancy, it was a very easy decision."
