'The Hunger Games' heroine got her break in the 2010 indie film 'Winter's Bone' as a poverty-stricken teenager caring for her mentally ill mother and younger siblings in the Ozark Mountains.

This put in her good stead for the dystopian franchise - in which she played Katniss Everdeen - and she has continued her work in movies such as 'American Hustle' and 'Red Sparrow'.
