Lupita Nyong’o

The ‘Us’ actress might as well have her picture in the dictionary next to the term ‘breakthrough star’.

Her debut feature film role came in the 2013 movie '12 Years a Slave' alongside Michael Fassbender and Brad Pitt.

Nyong'o was nominated for several awards for her work in the movie and has since gone on to feature in the 'Star Wars' sequel trilogy.
