George Lucas dated Jim Carrey’s ex

In late 1983, singer Linda Ronstadt had broken up with a pre-fame Jim Carrey and hooked up with George Lucas. Lucas and Ronstadt met following one of her concerts, the pair reportedly dated for five years and even got engaged, However, they never married because the singer wasn’t a big fan of the institution. In an interview with the Washington Post, Ronstadt previously said: “I have no talent for [marriage]. Not a shred. I don’t like to compromise. If I want a pink sofa and somebody doesn’t want a pink sofa, I’m not going to go for that. I want the pink sofa.”
