Secret writer
Carrie Fisher stole the show as Marie, but the actress had actually provided more than just her acting skills on the movie.
The actress helped pen the script, though refused to be credited as a writer.
Billy Crystal did however realise that Carrie had contributed to the picture, and argued that her writing was “why I think it’s such a powerful screenplay”.
‘When Harry Met Sally’ wasn’t the only movie Carrie had written for, as she had also provided work for ‘Hook’, ‘The Wedding Singer’ and the original ‘Star Wars’ flicks.
