Indiana Jones
Spielberg was behind the camera for the first four movies in the franchise but has little love for 1984's second flick 'Indiana Jones and the Temple Doom'.
The film sees Harrison Ford don his iconic hat and whip as the titular explorer while he and his accomplices Willie Scott (Kate Capshaw) and Short Round (Ke Huy Quan) attempt to destroy an evil cult in India and Spielberg felt that the plot was "too dark".
Looking back on the movie, Steven said: "It was too dark, too subterranean, and much too horrific. I thought it out-poltered 'Poltergeist'. There’s not an ounce of my personal feeling in 'Temple of Doom'."
