Bruce took on the role of plastic surgeon Dr. Ernest Menville in the 1992 black comedy movie. He starred alongside Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn as rivals who drink a magic potion that promises eternal youth. The film grossed $149 million worldwide and the cast all received nominations at the Saturn Awards, but Bruce lost out on the award for Best Actor to Gary Oldman in 'Dracula'.
