She wrote Icona Pop's iconic hit

Global smash hit ‘I Love It’ was released by Swedish electropop duo Icona Pop and was released in summer 2012, but it was actually written by Charli XCX.

The song went on to become their first US hit ranking at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 and was a certified double platinum.

It also featured in adverts, including for Coca Cola, and in TV series 'The Vampire Diaries’.
