Cardi B has shared her youngest son's name in a birthday tribute post.

The 33-year-old rapper and her former partner Stefon Diggs welcomed a son into the world last November, and on Wednesday (04.11.26) she took to Instagram to praise little Grey Marsean Diggs for the way he "lights up" her life and lifts her spirits.

Cardi shared a selection of photos of the little boy, including pictures from a Grey's Anatomy-themed celebration, in which he dressed as a doctor from the TV medical drama, and wrote: “Happy 1st birthday to Grey Marsean Diggs [grey heart emojis]!! It’s only been 1 year since meeting you but it feels like I’ve had you at my side forever.

“I carried you through one of the most uncertain high pressured times of my life but having you inside of me through it all gave me a extra strength.

“I was growing you inside of me and at the same time you were giving me life! You gave a new meaning to what a Grey day feels like. You light up my life and every room with your smile your laugh and your precious spirit.”

The WAP hitmaker - who also has Kulture, eight, Wave, five, and two-year-old Blossom with estranged husband Offset - recently told how she was "panicking" about her children's future, so she diversified her investment portfolio to ensure she'd have money to leave them outside of her music career.

She explained to Entertainment Tonight: "I was panicking. I leave this earth and my kids are going to have just music royalties and they're mostly going to have to be arguing people about it."

Cardi - who worked as a stripper before finding success in the music business - is determined to ensure that her kids never have to worry about money.

She added: "They're going to have a couple of properties and a couple of liquid money."

Cardi recalled thinking: "What is something that, God forbid, something happens to me, I leave behind that is for them? God forbid something happened to me, this is theirs."

The rap star has already enlisted Kulture, her daughter, for a commercial for Grow Good Beauty, her haircare company.

She shared: "It's funny because when we was doing the commercial.

"I kept saying, 'Don't make the shoots be so long 'cause then she gets uncomfortable, then she doesn't want to do it.' But she was with everything. She was really like, 'I want this. I want to do this.'"

Cardi is one of the best-selling artists in the world, but she previously claimed to have been happier before she found fame.

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker doesn't have any money worries these days, but she bemoaned the impact of fame on her life.

Cardi - who released her second studio album, Am I the Drama?, in 2025 - told CR Fashion Book magazine: "One positive thing is that, my family, whatever they want, they get. Everything that I want to buy, I can get. I don’t have to worry so much about my future.

"One negative thing is that, even though I’m happy, I feel like I was a little bit happier two or three years ago when I had less money.

"I had less people who had opinions about my life. I felt like my life was mine. Now I feel like I don’t even own my life. I feel like the world owns me."
