She recorded her first album at 14

The ‘Boom Clap’ singer managed to convince her parents to fund her first album titled ‘14’.

After posting some of her tracks on social media platform Myspace, she was discovered by an East London promoter running illegal warehouse raves, where she performed under her Myspace username Charli XCX.
