Laura Dern played Dr. Ellie Sattler in Steven Spielberg’s 1993 action blockbuster ‘Jurassic Park’.

Laura admits the true talent of the director is that he creates an environment in which you truly believe that the animatronic dinosaurs really are giant reptiles brought back to life.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, she said: “His one million percent magical ability to believe forces you to believe right alongside him. There is no illusion for Steven when he is creating a world. It is real. I think that is why ‘E.T.’ and ‘Jurassic Park’ will be seen by children in 50 years, for example, and hold up, because he feels the awe and therefore fills the frame in a way that illustrates that awe.”
