Rebecca Hall

Rebecca Hall played the character Mary in 'The BFG' - Spielberg's 2016 adaptation of Roald Dahl's 1982 novel of the same name.

Rebecca is another actor who was amazed by Spielberg's ability to use his imagination just as a child would.

She said: "Steven Spielberg was a huge part of my childhood, like everyone's, I guess. He seems to have a very unique access to what it is to be a child still, and he has all of that wonder and excitement and joy about life. I think that's what makes his films for children so brilliant and also what makes him so brilliant to direct children. It was really special to watch him do that and watch him create this world."
