Record maker Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift made history when she became the first artist to win the Album of the Year award four times when her record 'Midnights' received the honor, having previously previously being the first and only female solo artist to win it three times, tying her with Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.
Earlier in the evening, the 34-year-old pop superstar provided one of the event's biggest talking points when she announced the release of a new album in April.
Accepting the Best Pop Vocal Album accolade, she said: said: "OK, this is my 13th Grammy, it's my lucky number, I don't know if I've ever told you that.
"I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way but I know that the way the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans so I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I've been keeping for the last two years. Which is that my brand new album comes out April 19. It's called 'Tortured Poets Department'."
