Jerry Seinfeld turned down $110m for Season 10
After the final run, Season 9, concluded, NBC was desperate for 'Seinfeld' to carry on.
In fact, the studio was so desperate, that they offered Jerry Seinfeld $5 million an episode, which would have meant a jaw-dropping $110 million for the whole series.
However, Jerry turned it down, citing that "the love affair between the people that were making the show and the audience was so intense it was so white hot, I had to respect that and I could not go to that point where it starts to age and wither".
