Kramer was Kessler

It turns out Kramer wasn't always Kramer!

In the pilot episode, Kramer - played by Michael Richards - was called Kessler, as the real Kramer, who was Larry David's neighbour, was hesitant to let the show use his name.

However, Kenny Kramer eventually agreed to the deal, and received $1,000 and profited from his 'Kramer's Reality Tour' bus tour.
