C-3PO's panic attack

If C-3PO's discomfort seemed genuine on Jabba the Hutt's Sail Barge, that's because it was!

During the scene where the protocol droid is being attacked by the vile alien Salacious B Crumb, Anthony Daniels - the actor who played C-3PO, had to lie on his back whilst the puppet was on his face.

The situation caused Anthony - who was always sweltering in his gold metal costume - to have a panic attack, and began to shout, "Get me up, get me up!"

The actor's panic was so genuine, that Lucas included the take but dubbed his speech with "R2, help!"
