With a score of 6.9 out of 10 on IMDb, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ sees Andrew Garfield don the red-and-blue suit as he attempts to navigate high school with Gwen Stacey (Emma Stone) whilst the Lizard (Rhys Ifans) threatens to turn the whole of New York City into animals.

The 2012 movie received a mixed reception, but the emotional weight of the plot and bold performance by Garfield were praised.
