9) The Amazing Spider-Man 2
With a score of 6.6 out of 10, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ is a rather confusing movie.
On one hand, the 2014 film is overstuffed with villains and set-ups for other franchises, such as the Sinister Six and Black Cat to the extent that the plot and story becomes muddied, but on the other, it has some of the best performances in a ‘Spider-Man’ movie, with Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and his webslinging alter ego and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy being particular highlights.
Comparing the movie to its predecessor, Emma emphasised that she believed the chemistry she shared with her co-star was “natural magic”.
She explained: “I think the dynamic was different in this one, but the natural magic that Peter and Gwen have between them, was just something we tried not to over think.”
